The outpouring of hot water coming out from bowels of earth is surrounded by several kinds of trees, big intersecting steel pipes in that area. Those steel pipes channel hot steam to the turbine of earth heating electric power plants.
Darajat Crater has some active craters with the small explosions accompanied with the outpouring of hot water coming out of crater’s mouth.
The road of this tourist resort is good enough because of lying at the area foreign company. The area of Darajat crater lies at Samarang sub-district with the distance of 25 kilometers from Garut downtown or be covered in one our trip.
